Welcome to “Tilgen”! 

We put this site together to help centralize our efforts to reduce the amount of ‘stuff’ that has been acquired over the years.  It can best be summed up in the name that we chose – Tilgen, which is German for “to redeem”.  And that is our goal – to redeem space.

The items span over four generations and include things from other branches of our family.  We have goodies from furniture to swizzle sticks; hats to hammers; clothes presses to lawnmowers.  All kinds of stuff.  Some may be fairly new, other pieces were made before the turn of the century – the 1900 one.

This will be the main hub (at least for the ‘good stuff’), but we will also be using Craigs List, eBay, Etsy, and Facebook Marketplace.  See something you like?  Use the contact form for that item.  Looking for something in particular?  Just contact us and we’ll see what we have around.  The site will continue to change, so check back often. 

Oh yes… ‘hours of operation’… The website is obviously available 24/7/365.  So if you see something, just send us a note, and we’ll take it from there.  We usually reply within 24 hours (usually less).  We may do some ‘yard sales’ during the year and maybe even an auction.  Those will be posted on the sidebar.  Stop by and take a look during our ‘sale days’ or contact us for an appointment!
